25 years ago and far away. The guys running the cocaine lab we destroyed that day had these tortoises tied up for future meals at the lab site. The bad guys ran off long before the helicopters landed and we decided that if we set the tortoises free they would just become doper food again at some point, so we brought them back for eventual release back to safer wilderness.
